Atch is hosting the “Turkey Giblets, 20th Annual Edition, LAN party!”  Our biggest LAN party ever!

Our collective milestone achievement:

Congratulations programs! This is a big deal!  And to celebrate this special occasion the host has some very special surprises planned for  this years 20th celebration of family, friendship,fun, games and general shenanigans.

I want to keep the fun which have made more than 20 years of LAN parties intact while adding some exciting activities and prizes, with consequences, that will impact your ability to win!  Here are some things you can expect at this years celebratory LAN Party.

To welcome our out of town guests, we have early drop off options available this year as early as Friday evening, November 20th.  Just keep your host posted on your expected schedule and early arrival time.

We’ll officially start the LAN party Thursday, November 26th setting up after 4:00 pm and go into Sunday, November 29th, or optionally as late as Monday November 30th. Bring your own computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones, comfortable clothes/PJ’s, slippers, and any other accessories you need.

Door prizes will be distributed as people arrive.

Custom apparel will be unveiled Thursday, November 26th after 8:00pm. You won’t want to miss it!

Contests schedule for Friday, November 27th are announced the evening before.

Contests schedule for Saturday, November 28th and Sunday, November 29th are announced the evening before.

The food:

BYO Snacks and refreshments.

Thursday, November 26th:

• Assuming people will have their own Thanksgiving food plans so I won’t plan anything in particular for Thursday night.
• Pizza might be an option
• Popcorn is a snack option

Friday, November 27th:

• Cooking contest, slot (1) : Want to cook our guests a tasty breakfast entree or snack?  Reserve your cooking contest slot today!
• Cooking contest, slot (2) : Want to cook our guests a tasty lunch entree or snack?  Reserve your cooking contest slot today!
• Cooking contest, slot (3) : Want to cook our guests a tasty dinner entree or snack?  Reserve your cooking contest slot today!

Contestants are encouraged to work in pairs and will share 2 times the points, but a single contestant are eligible too. earning 1 times the points.  Limit one cooking contest entry per individual or team for the entire LAN party.

Saturday, November 28th:

• Classic LAN Party omelets, Mark’s Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, with contest implications, for breakfast
• The Big Game! Kick-off is at noon! Bean dip, chips and salsa for lunch.
• Mini Mashtini Bar Party for dinner

Sunday, November 29th:

The drink:

BYOB! In case you forget there is a Kroger about 5 minutes away. There is also a small refrigerator in the basement.

The when:

Thursday November 26th. Setup starts after 4:00pm. Early bird set up is available for this LAN Party. Please send your host a message to arrange your early bird setup plans.

Accommodations:

I’ll have a couple inflatable mattresses and one standard bed. First come, first serve, as is tradition. Since some are traveling from out of town please let me know if you’d like to come in earlier or stay later.
